Yes. Every Maid It New cleaner goes through a thorough interview process and a nationwide background check. We accept roughly 1 in 10 applicants, so you’re getting someone who has been vetted carefully. Your home and your privacy matter to us, and we take that seriously.

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it. That’s our promise to you! 

We have three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Secondly, our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

Yes, every cleaner completes a nationwide background check before their first appointment. We also do in-person interviews and reference checks. It’s part of why Princeton homeowners trust us with keys to their homes.
If something wasn’t cleaned to your satisfaction, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll come back to make it right at no charge. We stand behind our work, and for recurring clients especially, we want every visit to feel consistent and reliable.

Our services are personalized to each customer, therefore, Maid It New does not offer refunds. However, please contact us within 12 hours after the booking start time if you have any complaints about your cleaning service. We do not offer refunds, but we would offer you a free re-clean if we are notified within 12 hours of the initial cleaning. Customers must list, with pictures, areas of the home that were missed during the initial cleaning. Any areas not listed within 12 hrs of the initial cleaning will not be honoured in the re-clean. Also, customers may not add a new service to the re-clean without reaching our minimum new service requirement. Our free re-cleans will take place within 24hrs to 48hrs. The customer must be available to grant access to the cleaners for the re-clean.

First time clients who haven’t had their home cleaned professionally within the last month will need to add the First Time Clean option in the Extras section in order to give our crew members the time they need to achieve the high-quality results we’re known for. Once that’s complete, our Standard Clean is the perfect choice for weekly/biweekly/monthly Maiditnew Clean moving forward! Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the level of service.

Our Move In/Move Out option delivers a thorough cleaning to prepare the home for you or the new family moving in! Please ensure that the home is empty prior to our cleaning service and that there are no other people (movers, tradespeople etc) working in the space. And we will need electricity and water!

Please note, if the home is particularly dirty, we may need to add the First Time Clean service to your cleaning in order to give our cleaners time to complete their work.

Sometimes a garage, a closet, or an entire room can get a little out of control and leave you feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to even start. Our organizers will help you get things back in order. We have a three hour minimum and can stay as long as it takes to put things right. MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right-hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointments that are already completed.

Our standard clean covers everything you’d expect from a reliable recurring service: vacuuming, mopping, dusting all surfaces, bathrooms scrubbed and disinfected, kitchen surfaces and appliances wiped down, and beds made.
